Which Clint Eastwood do you Like Best?

Post by EarlJam » September 16th, 2010, 2:10 pm

The bad ass "Dirty Harry" Eastwood?

or...

The more gentle Eastwood of the 90s and 2000s with films such as Million Dollar Baby and The Unforgiven.

It's basically weak plot, shoot 'em up, but lots of fun VS. movies with good plots and deeper themes.

"I LIKE THEM BOTH EQUALLY" is NOT an option. If you had to choose, which would you choose?

I don't know. Tough call. Clint was pretty bad ass in Unforgiven, and he shot a lot of shit up in the movie. "He shoulda armed himself" might be the most bad-ass line of all time. He's pretty awesome in Gran Tourino too.

I'd say he was a total bad-ass in Gran Tourino.

I like the Clint Eastwood who settled down in Carmel, became mayor and married the local television news reporter, Dina Ruiz.

Perhaps we need a poll for everyone's favorite C. Eastwood role.

"There's two kinds of people in this world...those with loaded guns and those who dig."
Bad ass.
The First Mate has had the pleasure of meeting him in Carmel at his Mission Ranch. He's quite accessable there. She also was at the premier for The Unforgiven and the cast party. She won a drawing for a lucite encased sheriff's badge, given away at the party.

How did she snag an invitation to this soiree? Because I'd like to tag along with her to the next one she attends!
