Are we really on the cusp of football week three already? That seems a little insane. Seems like just yesterday we were talking about how the first Brunchgate was coming up. In the blink of an eye, we'll be chatting about Singler going to the hoop and Nolan Smith getting Teed up. This is a great time of year. I vote for things to slow down a little.

Let's just face it; we'll all be dead soon. Life is but a vapor; a flower blooming in April. We, the living, are the minority. Those that have gone before us overwhelm us in numbers. We mourn for those recently passed, and for good reason, for we shall miss them so........while we are still here. But why act surprised? For we are not so far back in line. We're all going to the same "show." It's like being 20th in line and when your friend who is first in line gets the ticket, you exclaim, "Oh my God! They got their ticket!" We're all gonna get our ticket, and sooner rather than later. We are all in line. And proportionally speaking, those of us "in line" are like a grain of sand on a beach filled with grains of sand who have already, "made the show."

Nolan did get T'd up last year, IIRC, for staring at a effing$U player after the POS "slapped" him in the face him (or was he elbowed in the chest?) during a dead ball or FT sequence. They &%$ing refs still got the call wrong even after reviewing it, I think. Actually, I believe the T on Nolan was correct as he was jawing at the thug, probably a reference to his mother ( ) but the guy hit Nolan and really, really shoulda been tossed.

But, you are correct in entering Ewing's name into the discussion. Nolan doesn't have that rep.
