Brunchgate 2010 - Alabama Game Sept. 18 - Menu / attendance

OK...A week to go so time to break out the menu and attendance thread. TNTdevil and I have decided to team up on our contribution. I'm going to be toting along my big grill, along with two 20 pound full bone in standing rib roasts. I'm buying them today and we'll dry age them for a week. (TNT told me this is the way to go, unfortunately we didn't think in advance and do this 2 weeks ago and let it age for 21 days like his Christmas roast.) We figure since we're gonna have pork to either side of us, we don't want anyone asking "Where's the beef?".
Along with the rib roasts I'll be bringing my newest home brew, "Dead Ant Ale" (see Ymm, beer for an explanation of the name), as well as another large package of Nathan's dogs for the children of all ages.
My crowd will be me and Stephanie.

Where's the beef? It's in the 4(+) pounds of Chutzpah pastrami and 1(+) pound of Chutzpah corned beef that Cheermom is bringing with them. And while that sounds like a lot, for 50 or 60 people to sample it's really not. I'm bringing several loaves of rye bread, both seeded and unseeded, to make sammies on. And Bud Light.

Corn and black bean salad.

4 total attendees. So far. Might be 6. If it is, the other guests will add another side or two.

Real beers to drink. And trade. Are you reading CB&B and dpslaw?

I'd order an extra pound of the corned beef. I'll add a dab or two of one of TNT's mustards or bring my own brown mustard.

We also oughtta be thinking about breakfast, lunch AND dinner comestibles.

Alabama's state nut is the pecan. I'll bring a pecan pie and 2 gallons of sweet tea.

Me plus 1. I'm bringing plates, napkins and utensils (yes Tim, the good stuff :) ); and of course mimosas, tortilla chips and salsa. I may break bad and cook towards the end of the season, but I doubt it :D Can't ruin my reputation!

Both lawgrads, Dawn and Bruce. I asked him (the chef) what we should bring, but I haven't gotten a decent response. Expect cookies of some kind.
