Do I need to clarify? I did NOT say they are my boys or anything. I just mean that, unlike many that try to do what they do, Hanson has 1) Stood the test of time and 2) Write and sing most of their own stuff.........oh,, and 3) It's catchy! I can't stand music today because bands/groups are such phonies. Hanson, like them or hate them, are not. They are at thevery least, REAL, and at th every worst, real but too cheesy. Either way, you can't ignore their talent, can you? They seem to even KNOW they are a bit of a joke, whereas Beiber and company actually think people care!

Rationalize it all you want - it won't change anything. You admitted your crime so no trial is necessary and we can proceed directly to the sentencing phase. Your sentence has been handed down so it is time to accept your punishment! I would tell you to man up and accept your punishment but A) your liking them has proven that you are incapable of manning up and B) your manhood has been revoked so, even if you wanted to, you couldn't man up.

Were I ever to say anything negative about any scene from that movie I would fully expect to be drawn and quartered for it! But Hanson copying it is disgraceful - is nothing sacred?

Not a huge fan. I appreciate the homage to Blues Brothers and Ray, but they aren't as good as he in my opinion, which insults the great performer. Also, the costumes were off and the song doesn't QUITE match the style of the original, and the dancing, in my opinion. Plus, they should have had the lines of dialogue surrounding the song, which were epic!

Nice attempt though, and like I said, I enjoyed that it was an homage.

Although your stock has probably dropped with some, not with me. I appreciate your honesty. I am sure many of us have performers/bands and the sort we secretly like, and maybe even publicly denounce before going home and listening to the very same people/bands!

I honestly did not realize Hanson was so deep (as in not only do they sing, but they write & arrange their stuff too!).
It is always refreshing (especially in this day and age of ripoff remade/rehashed/unoriginal tripe) to know there are still true artists out there.

And if this helps you feel better..... I, knights68, admit that I enjoy the musical styles of Elton John.
