I'm getting a little bored with the regular podcasts that I download. What podcasts do you like to download?

What do you regularly download? I would like to add to my list.

I get NPR's Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me, Quick and Dirty Tips' Nutrition Diva, the Dog Trainer, House Call Doc, and Get Fit Guy, Garrison Keillor's News from Lake Wobegon, and How Stuff Works and Stuff You Missed in History Class. :-B

Oh, yeah, and the video podcasts from dukeblueplanet. (saving the best for last)

I forgot about Grammar Girl and The Winning Investor.

If you have trouble sleeping I highly recommend the Relaxation and Meditation Exercises from Duke Student Health. And Johnboy is right; there is very interesting stuff on iTunes U.

I already do NPR: WWDTM, GrammarGirl, and PTI (which has gotten tedious lately). ONION RADIO NEWS used to be on my list; will try again. OLD JEWS TELLING JOKES? Must try that! Thank you!!

So when do y'all listen to your podcasts? I never really got into them cuz I couldn't figure out where they'd fit into my life.

I have something called SleepPhones, which look like a sweatband with headphone speakers inside. I often listen to a podcast at bedtime before falling asleep. Sometimes the podcasts actually put me to sleep. The SleepPhones work well for me because they don't hurt my ears as I sleep on my side.

I only found the extra large on the amazon website. Mine are size large, in lavender. I love 'em!

I listen when I'm riding in the car. I rarely listen to anything else in the car if I'm alone.

The London radio station I listen to has podcasts of all their shows. At the moment, I don't download any of them because I am free to listen to them when they are on but, at some point when I don;t have as much free time on my hands, I will subscribe and will start downloading them. But those are the only ones I can think of that I would ever regularly download.

Same here! I find NPR's Planet Money podcast is a perfect, put-me-to-sleep podcast. That's not to say it's a bad show, in fact, I love it. They just also have really soothing voices.

On my regular listening list:

NPR: WWDTM
NPR: Planet Money
NPR: It's All Politics
This American Life
APM: Writer's Almanac
KUOW Speaker's Forum
Tech5
CNET Buzz Report

I also have a few TEDTalks downloaded, but never seem to get around to watching them. Anyone have good suggestions for getting video podcasts to TV?

Do you keep an mp3 player loaded with podcasts in the car for such trips? I've ended up with just the radio because I'm too lazy to keep the mp3 player batteries charged. Well, that and my trips are usually less than 15 min long.
