My Dad bought me this book for my birthday. It is one of the best books I have ever read in my entire life. It's great! I've had almost every conversation in it with my children, minus a lot of the profanity. And the ones I haven't, I've had with my dad, or I'm sure I WILL have with my kids at some point. I have laughed hysterically several times while reading it.

Saw the author interviewed on TV several months ago. It does sound hilarious and William Shatner is probably perfect to play the dad on the new TV series. Was disappointed in ol' Bill when he met the author at a taping - Shatner basically (barely) nodded his head and ignored him. I expect more out of Captain James T. Kirk.
