NatGeo - And Man Created Dog

Did anybody else catch this on National Geographic channel last night?
It was quite well done.
The fact that they showed a standard poodle RETREIVING and noted that is the work they were bred for made it a winner in my book.

They beginning is a little speculative but their 'guess' as to how canids first become tame/domesticated is a good as any.

(short version: he was joking around, the dog didn't know him. He decided to jump out from behind cover and grab me from behind. I thought I was being attacked. So did the dog. He gave up his arm to save his face/throat.) no - nothing happened to do the dog. Friend lied about what happened since he (rightly) believe it was HIS fault for being stupid - or as he put it "what the f*** did I know, we have Pekingese!")
