I must say, however, that to be an "asshole," you have to be smart (in my opinion). To me, Tyson was just a dumb ass. Assholes KNOW they are being Assholes. They manipulate. They are twin brothers to "Dicks."

Yes, it takes some I.Q. to be a genuine asshole or dick. That's why many men consider it a compliment to be called an asshole or a dick. It's also why many women are attracted to them.

Tyson was more of a dumb ass, but still, your point is quite valid. He definitely had some asshole qualities.

Steinbrenner was Soooooooooooooooo unique. He gave millions to charity but made it conditional. The condition? That NO press or publicity should be made of what he gave. How aweome and unique is that?

Sorry EJ, but giving to charity doesn't preclude you from being an asshole. Following your logic, if Hitler gave millions to charity under the same conditions as Steinbreener then he wouldn't be an asshole.

Steinbrenner was manipulative, unreasonably outspoken, had a foul mouth, and was suspended from baseball twice. He was a criminal that got one of the sweetest plea deals that it makes multiple top ten lists for shady presidential pardons.

He was, in every sense of the word, a shining example of an asshole.
