NFL Camps For Dukies

Leon Wright never made it to the Giants' camp since he didn't pass his physical, and now the Giants' fans won't be able to do the Okpokowuruk. Ayanga was cut on Friday. That leaves Thad Lewis, Vincent Rey and Vince Oghobhaase with their NFL dreams still intact.

hopefully Vinny can make the team. I remember last year Mike Tauiliili had an amazing preseason but was cut from the team. Hopefully Vinny Rey will change the trend.

Updated to 6 tackles, 5 solo. That's the second most tackles for the Bengals in the game. :happy-bouncyblue:

He's probably too short.

No doubt he's too short.

I watched a Colts preseason last year where Mike Tauiliili made the GMC Play of the Game on a goal-line stand, and he was apparently too short to make it in the NFL. X( X( X(

Sam Bradford and AJ Feeley are a combined 7 for 16 for less than 60 yards. So maybe Thad can impress.

Yeah, I'm "watching" online, via Yahoo GameChannel. Bradford started the second half, got a couple of completions but didn't do much. The Rams TD came on a punt return.

The Rams put in Null as their third QB.

Yup..that's expected since he's third string. Hopefully Thad outplays him. I'm following on GameTrax. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/gameTrax?g ... 0100814014

Thad goes 5/6 for 46 yards. A pretty good performance for not a lot of playing time. But his stats are better than Feeley and Null, which is a very good thing. Most likely either Null or Lewis will make the final team, hopefully its Thad.

The only reason Thad's stats weren't better than Bradford's is because Bradford went for 57 yards...but on 6/13 passing. Thad had the best average per catch...even more impressive since he only got to play one series.

Not a bad showing in comparison to the others. I would hope the Rams would keep Thad as their third QB, or at least give him enough playing time so that he can get a shot with someone else if they cut him.

Of course, he is too short to play QB in the NFL. ;)

Wish I could.

Hey, is anyone watching the Bengals game? I just got home from the gym and it's halftime. :( Has Vincent Rey played at all? Are the Bungles still high on him as an undrafted free agent?

Vincent Rey got in late...and still tallied up 2 solo tackles. The highest number was 3, so he continues to do well and impress.
