Has anyone else seen Nolan's latest masterpiece? What did you think? Also, what did you think about the ending?
Personally, I thought it was excellent; very well done. DiCaprio played his part well, and Ellen Page was phenomenal.

My thoughts on the ending: (Highlight to see, if I can ever figure out what color to use...)
EDIT: well, I can't figure out what color to use to hide the answer :( so just scroll down to see what I think and scroll quickly to avoid it

It doesn't matter whether or not Cobb was in a dream; the ending is intentionally ambiguous. Cobb has accepted that state, whether dream or reality, as HIS reality and will live the rest of his life there. In this reality, he has everything he has wanted for the past 2 years and been unable to have.

Haha well the Monet of his set is almost certainly his crossover on LDII in the 82-50 party!

Duke2014,

I pretty much agree with your take on the movie, including the significance of the ending. Like some others OY, I was bothered by the liberties Nolan took with the relative passage of time. I won't say more lest I venture into spoiler territory. Bottom line: If you exclude animated films, I thought Inception was far and away the best film I've seen in 2010, especially given the steaming piles of :poo: Hollywood has produced this year.

I've been a movie slacker this year..but Inception is high on my list. (I have Toy Story 3 before it)
I'll probably wait until DVD...but I'm eager like I was with the Matrix...but if the Matrix had never been, I'd have already seen Inception.
