Shitting at the Dinner Table

Okay, so my family is down for the weekend. Tomorrow night, I have to drive up to have dinner with them. I am looking forward to this, but there's one thing they do that I do NOT enjoy. They sit at the dinner table and chat long after the dinner is completed. This is just not comfortable for me, socially, or physically. I'm 6' 3" tall and weigh 215. Sitting at the table with a full stomach, making trivial chit-chat, is not the most comfortable environment for me. I know this may sound bad, but it's just the truth. After I'm done with dinner, I want to be excused from the table as soon as possible.
Can I get at least ONE amen!?

My friend at work used to have the same problem, but it subsided when she cut way back on her carbs. I don't know if it was cause and effect or not, but it might be worth a try.

Has anyone else noticed the title of this thread? I thought it was going to be about something entirely different.

I can certainly agree with that... and yes, I was rather worried about the subject when I read the title of the thread.
Especially when you said it they did something at the dinner table that you just didn't enjoy.

Give it some time. Many of our topics eventually get around to discussing

I would argue that many of our topics
are the second they're started ;)

As a moderator (BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!), I was half tempted to ask EarlJam if he meant the current title, or if he meant SITTING.
I then realized it was EarlJam, and wondered if he really meant SHIFOOGLE.
Might as well keep the title the waY it is.

Isn't it more socially acceptable to shit at the table rather than upon the table?
What does Emily post say about all this?

Yeah, you did. And she probably took pictures of the procedure with her new camera!

Nothing works quite like photographic evidence.
