There will be some changes to types of parking available for football games beginning this fall.

In keeping with the rest of the football world, Duke will offer Duke fans two lots for oversized vehicles. Parking permits will be required and may be purchased for single games or for the entire season. The lots will be on Duke University Rd. not far from an entrance to the University campus. For the Alabama game, there will be a lot for Alabama fans' oversized vehicles located over on Mayfair Street, off Shannon Rd. A parking permit must be purchased for this site as well. Information about shuttles and services available in the lots will be available August 15.

Is this great or what! :happy-bouncyblue: :happy-bouncyblue: :happy-bouncyblue:

I haven't heard much about the Wallace Wade upgrades...will the men have fancy shmancy restrooms this year?

Where does everyone (not lucky enough to have a parking pass) park? Is there one place that's better than another? How much better off would I be if I save my lunch $$ and join the Iron Dukes?

There is public parking off Circuit Dr. It's quite a hike from where the action is and there is a charge for parking there. You can get a parking pass to go along with your season ticket for $250/yr. Parking is going to become more and more of a problem as the attendance increases.

Being an Iron Duke even at the $250 level allows you to request basketball tickets from the pool of any recycled through the Iron Duke office.

I 've usually parked at Central Campus and walked or taken the shuttle.

I think it might be time to invest in the Iron Dukes.

Yes, and many happy returns are in store for you when you become an Iron Duke. First and foremost is supporting Duke student athletes. This is still a good time to join while the options Iron Duke for are still pretty favorable. Early in Coach Cutcliffe first season, there were so many new Iron Dukes needing football parking that no new passes could be issued for the rest of that season. This is still good timing to get ahead of the curve of change in the football program.

Award yourself a sapphire or two! :happy-bouncyblue: :happy-bouncyblue:

The men had upgraded restrooms on the East (visitor) side last year. Oh and they were SOOOOOO wonderful. I haven't heard if the restrooms on the home side have been renovated yet.

Though I didn't investigate the women's rest rooms on the West side, there was a new building in use. The new building is beside Finch-Yeager. The parking for the Sports Medicine Clinic which used to be there has been relocated.

The new building at Finch-Yeager, from the side facing the field, is a concession stand. I didn't go around the building but suspect that is all it is, considering the size. I don't think there would be room for restrooms. :duke:
