John Oxendine for Georgia Governor!

Holy Cow! Just when I thought I had lost all faith in politicians, I just saw a commercial that informed me about John Oxendine and how he wants to save Georgia! Awesome! You should have seen his opponent. She always has a scowl on her face and is always taking photos in black and white! But not John Oxendine! That mother fucker is in full living color!
He was walking down a colorful small "main street" with his wife on the left and get this, an infant BABY in his right arms! An infant! Awwwwwwwwwwww. He was smiling and the sun was shining and everything!
I can't wait to vote for John Oxendine! I'm so pumped! GOD I'm going to rest so much easier tonight! Well, except maybe for the fact that I may not be able to sleep over being so pumped up about the chance to vote for JOHN OXENDINE!

Is that the Oxendine that played football for Duke in the 70's or 80's?

You're thinking of Robert Oxendine. He's an attorney in Florida.

According to AJC.com, with 76% of the precincts in, Oxendine is 4th in a 4-person race that looks destined to be a run-off between a Sarah Palin-backed candidate and a Newt Gingrich-backed candidate.
Guess those B&W photos of his opponent really helped Oxendine. ;)
This is one of those times when I am glad I no longer live in Georgia.

My Facebook homepage showed an update from him this morning - something to do with the Braves but I paid no attention since it involved baseball. However, the update indicates that he is still alive and kicking.
