Moderator Thoughts, with EarlJam
Obviously, at first, the site will be full of green with moderator postings - like it is now.
This made me realize something - and my God, I never thought I'd say this seriously:
I love the MODS!
This is more awesomer than taking Anna Kournikova to a Flight of the Conchords concert!

Umm... what he said. But I think this not quite EarlJam. After all, he replied without inventing a few words.EarlJam wrote:Obviously, at first, the site will be full of green with moderator postings - like it is now.

Just while we're playing around and learning how everything works - but we'll try to contain things in the Grinch thread for that is why it was created.EarlJam wrote:Obviously, at first, the site will be full of green with moderator postings - like it is now.

I'm kind of partial to Maria Sharapova lately. Not that I'd kick Anna out of bed for eating crackers, or anything else for that matter, but I must say I do prefer Maria.

Any of the 327 tall white Russian female tennis players will do. They all seem to look, well, spectacular. What's in the vodka over there?colchar wrote: I'm kind of partial to Maria Sharapova lately. Has anyone tried this stuff?
Stolnaya Peperoni
A local retired industrialist recently went to Russia and came back with a bottle of this stuff. He gave it to a friend of mine, unknowing she had recently stopped drinking altogether. She accepted, in politeness, then gave the bottle to me. I've had it for about a month.
(She figured I might really need it...see "life is not good") So, my possession is third-hand. I haven't cracked the seal yet and I also can't find any reviews for it on line that aren't written in Russian, or at least in Danish.
A red pepper pod swims at the bottom of the bottle. I can't imagine what it might mix with. I'm open for suggestions.

What if not that? I'm not a Mary kind of guy.
I can't stomach tomatoes. I haven't since I got sick from a bad one 49 years ago.
I don't even care for Ketchup.
Mom used to can them in the summers and I had to leave and stay with my cousins 'cause I couldn't take the smell.

And dry. Please not wet. I prefer you to pour vermouth in the glass, swirl it around, then dump down the drain.wilson wrote:Same here. Tanqueray, please, and bleu cheese olives if you've got 'em. Also, make my martini clean, please.captmojo wrote: I pretty much don't do vodka at all.

Better yet, get a cocktail spritzer and give me the lightest of vermouth mist in the glass by way of two little squirts.DukeUsul wrote:

Just take the cap off the vermouth bottle and wave it around the room.
