Makes me think back of something a stuttering friend once said after watching him play.
"He should'a bbben a house pppainter, cause he dddamn sure can't ppplay no bbbasketball."
But neither could my stuttering friend.
Mr. Bol was a humanitarian and his native land will more than miss him. A fine man. Life well done.

Very well said. If Mr. Bol's faith his such, he has heard those welcoming words - "Well done, good and faithful servant" Matthew 25:23
2 Timothy 4:7 - I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith.
I hope there is someone to step up and fill his shoes in helping his country.

RIP. He accomplished far more off the court in his life than he did on it, much to the benefit of his native country.

Of course, his time on the court may have afforded him the opportunities to help his people far more than he could have without it. So maybe he DID accomplish a lot on the court. RIP, Mr. Bol.
