2012 Olympic Mascots: Bring back Izzy!!

These mascots officially are hideous. Check out this CNN slideshow of official Olympic mascots:

Yeah... Atlanta's Izzy wasn't good, but I'd rank Izzy slightly ahead of the British cyclopses (plural spelling?). At least London didn't choose some tacky blue sheep.

Wasn't Izzy an overgrown toothpaste tube? These new guys are kinda weird, but not really any worse than others. They're supposed to represent the digital world, and their eyes are cameras.

I can see the t-shirts now:
We spent £8.5 billion on the Summer Olympics and I got were these lousy mascots.
