National Free Beer Day

As some of you may know, I, EarlJam, am running for President of the United States of America in 2012 (see facebook page).
Among the things I will be pushing is for there to be a National Free Beer Day. I believe this would have a tremendous positive impact on our economy. In a nut shell, (or beer mug), here's how it would work:
1. Choose a day for Free Beer Day.
2. Promote Free Beer Day in crazy mad but cost-effective fashion (PR, Social Media, etc.).
3. Free Beer Day arrives.
4. Coming home from work or whatever, people go to bar or restaurant or location near retail establishments with the idea of having that one free beer; but as most people know, beer is like Lay's potato chips - no one can have just one.
5. More beer is ordered (even if it's just one more). "Aw heck, may as well eat here too!"
6. Nearby retail outlets join Free Beer Day campaign to promote specials for the day. A new term is coined "Beertailing" (Retailing + Beer). "Consumers Consume for Retailing Boom!" Feeling dannnnndy, and retailing rannnnnndy, shoppers shop 'til they pass out (in some cases, literally).
7. Perhaps there could be one Free Beer Day per quarter (note: on free beer day, all first drinks are free (e.g., vodka tonics, wine, etc.)
8. Economy picks up, people are happy (some drunk), some literally drunk with happiness, and we all sing "Happy Days are Here Again!"
9. EarlJam goes down in history as the best president in U.S. History! (until the Camp David/Goat incident of 2015 occurs, but that's something totally different).
So who'se with me?

I'm with you, but you're thinking too small. May I suggest Free Beer of the Month?
Regarding Camp David/Goat incident of 2015: Is that why you sent me a private message asking for 5 gallons of orange marmalade, a box of toothpicks, and a plunger? I

Ooooooh! I like it! And the entire campaign could be branded, "The Year of the Beer!"

I still haven't drunk the one I had DD pick up for me. I doubt I ever will, it's too nice of a novelty item for my shelf.

Not sure I'm ready for anything in a bottle (or glass, for that matter) called Horse Piss.
