Me? I was sitting on the edge of a couch, with FordGrl00 and friends, fists clinging to my cranium. My arsehole was so tight I could have shat in a Texas Pete bottle.

I was sitting in my big ass chair at the beach, chatting in Section 21, and thinking, "OMG!! We're going to win the NCAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go Duke!! GTHC!!!! WE WIN, WE WIN, WE WIN!!!!"

I was yelling, "Singler got fouled, you idiot refs." Then I proved that a human body can survive 40 plus minutes of basketball without breathing....an incredible feat if you think about it!!!!

Me too, Pink! I was yelling "Where's Singler? Somebody just decked Singler!" I guess I'm the only one in the country who never considered that Hayward would ever even get close enough to get off a decent shot. Silly me, I wasn't even worried....just wanted them to call the shivver Kyle took.

Has anybody asked him if he even saw the shot from face down on the floor? Bless his heart.

I was pacing and bouncing in place for the last minute of the game and holding my breath as he took the shot. And then my KU sister brought out the champagne.

I was on my couch, holding my breath, which I'd been doing for the previous several minutes, chatting in Section 21. I had no doubt it wouldn't go in. The shot was hastily taken, not like Laettner's shot, which was planned.

I was at one of my Duke friends' house, with a group of around fifteen Duke grads, significant others, and friends. I was crouching in the living room floor, a little bit away from the group. Upon the shot's miss, I sprang into the air and ran several laps around the house, before slapping many high-fives and exchanging a number of hugs.

You need to watch the replays. That shot was too damn close to winning that game for my comfort.

I was sitting in a room full of NC State, ECU, and a future UNC fan (my friend who didn't get into Duke).

I then proceeded to jump in the air and scream while hugging my future UNC fan friend (who decided to cheer for Duke one last time).

I even got a few State fans to cheer. And the ECU fan cheered just because she was happy for me haha.

Absolutely a foul and a flagrant one but the refs would never call it. No courage. Imagine what would have happened if Kyle had pushed Heyward outta bounds as he dribbled upcourt before he could even get a shot off. Just be glad, REAL glad it did not go in.
