But it's not Jeff, and it's not his dad. Little brother (and ex-heel) Jason is taking over the program from Buzz Peterson, who shipped off to UNCW after a one year (and second) stint as the Mountaineers head coach.

Good luck to Jason. I hope he does well. I like ASU.

I like ASU too, but I do not hope Jason Capel does well in any endeavor in life. One of my least-favorite heels of all time, and that's saying a
lot.

I think this is great news. Despite the rivalry, I'm glad to see a young coach, with in-state ties, taking over the program.

Jason Capel - May he burn in HELL.

P.S. A few of my least-favorite heels: Maktar Necktie, Rasheed Wallace, King Rice, Scott Williams, RaShaad McCant's, Eddie Van Halen.

Does that mean you have some love for Kris Lang?

Poor Appalachain...those Mountaineers aren't gonna like this dude even one little bit. Have you ever wondered how Jeff and Jason came from the same family tree?

Thank you Pinkbend! Luckily I only had a few to edit, my bad. Wilson, you might still be captain of the grammar police, but we're placing PB in charge of the spelling police. Hell, you even posted in this thread a few times. Losing your touch there!

I accept the challenge of being the Spelling Police. I was an editor in a previous life and misspelled words drive me nuts! There is a Mom and Pop restaurant here in town that spells the sandwich "Rueben" on their menu board and I cringe when I see it. Yeah, I know...I should correct the spelling in a nice, quiet and gentle way. Haven't gotten up my nerve yet!

In that case, I hope he hires Ademola Okulaja for his staff; that would assure us all that AppSt will beat itself. ;) ;)
Ademola Okulaja beats himself! clap-clap

pinkbend, I am happy for you to serve as the Spelling and Grammar Deputy around here, but CB&B has spoken severely prematurely in offering you the lead role. That one is mine, and I do not intend to relinquish it. My recent neglect of some corrections stems from a desire not to be a grammatical imperialist:

The position of Grammar Ninja has also been filled.

I had a strong feeling CB&B had shot the Archduke when he crowned Pinkbend the new Spelling Police.

Heck fire! Here I am your 100th member and that doesn't count for ....well, it doesn't count for....whatever.
All I can say is "Easy come, easy go"....and my professional skills shall once again go unheralded and unused and definitely unappreciated.
But I will lurk in the background while catching every misspelled word that comes across my screen!!! That's a threat AND a promise!!! Beware!
