Thanks DitBD. I never sat in my seats last year, although once the guy at the top wouldn't let me into the GA seats, he tried to make me sit in my ticketed seats, which have a better view. Devildeac and I walked to the other entrance and got in that way. My (and Tilly's) seats might have a better view, but they don't have better friends.

Ticket prices continue to change. As expected, the additional game this year increases the total cost for reserved seats. The discounted reserved seats now are priced the same as other reserved seats. (I can't seem to find a link without buying tickets again.) I predicted such changes when Coach Cutcliffe arrived and expect more such changes over the next few years. Eventually the general admission and family sections are likely to become reserved seats. Don't know why there has been such poor communication regarding the deadline this year to keep the same seats.... could be some angry longtime ticket holders. (I'm thinking about the many older folk who've been coming for years and don't likely use the Internet.)

I'm sure that will happen too, especially after we get to a bowl. One day I'm going to have to go back to getting my own season tix, but for now it's great to be able to split them with Tilly. And she gets the employee option, so that's even better.

This will be my first football season as a member of CTN. The last two years I've missed games because Mr.Lawgrad had to work and I didn't want to go and sit by myself. (He sells Infiniti's, and Saturday is a big day for car sales.)
Do you sit as a group in GA, or does everyone break up after Brunchgate and sit in their assigned seats, like in elementary school? I like having someone to high-five or fuss with over the zebras, and it's not so much fun by myself, so I would enjoy having some company when he can't be there.

Some go to their assigned seats but several of us sit in GA even though we have regular seats. More the merrier, and the refs can hear us when we curse at them in unison.
Oh yeah...TNTdevil, the master chef of the brunchgates, hardly ever makes it in to the stadium. He doesn't like the football game getting in the way of a good tailgate.

Thanks, CB&B. I'll be glad to help curse the refs!

The company/guests are often better and louder in the GA section, especially if one of your group has argued with one of the ushers about reserved vs GA seating.

It appears several of the out of town members are trying to come to the Alabama game. Perhaps more could come so that we can all meet in person?

Please do plan to attend that one. Because of the demand from Alabama fans for tickets, this game will likely sell out well before any others (such as Carolina). We want to be sure to fill up the stadium with friendly folks wearing Duke blue. We can promise you and anyone else who comes back for that game a good time!

We're growing. Would name tags be out of the question......for the first few games at least? I'd love to have CTN names together with real names underneath. Whadayathink? I know I'm missing getting to meet some people I already know just because I don't know what they LOOK like!
Love, Ima

I would like name tags for a few games, too. I know very few actual names, and even get genders goofed up sometimes (sorry, CB&B!). I've friended people on FB when I could find them, but that only goes so far.

I think name tags is a great idea! I missed some very important people last year when they visited because i didn't know what they look like! Our tent city should be a rocking place next year and especially on September 18.

Good idea Ima! We can get some of those labels that people can write their own name on.

Does this mean that when I make my Brunchgate appearance(s) next season, I have to be Wilson wilson?

Yes. And you have to have a volleyball hat.

Or carry a small picket fence in front of your face.
