So the Alumni Association says that Lester's is supposedly a Duke gathering place in Saint Louis County. (It's way the hell out in some suburb, Ladue ar Warson I'm not sure exactly). Have you been to this place? We're trying to figure out what to do for the FF tonight. TIA.

Lavabe's in Indianapolis with Devildeac, in case you don't get an answer back by gametime.

Yeah, so I went top the "Irish" bar I go to for the early NCAAT package, out of superstition, since were were 6-0 with me at this place. Score.

Lester's is a new hangout, from what I gather.

When we lived in StLouis, I believe Ozzie's in Westport served that purpose, but we had TERRIBLE luck with it.

When in doubt, check with the Duke in StLouis Alumni Association.

Or START UP A NEW TRADITION at the Tap Room.

I got a postcard or something about Ozzie's during the 2008 season. We went for the Maryland game and there was no one there.

Why all these places have to be way out in Timbuktu instead of, y'know, IN Saint Louis, I don't know.

We actually went to the Tap Room when the women lost to Baylor.

In the event, I have gotten very superstitious. Since I was at Maggie O'Brian's for the first four games, I decided I had to go back for the National Semifinal. Amazingly, I had Duke fans on both sides of me after the Blues game started and most folks left. I guess I've got to go back Monday night.

I have to attend a lecture, so I'll be rushing home to watch it on TV; ILJ will have use of our Indy ticket Monday night.

We have a healthy marriage!
