BC is really making a habit of discouraging their high-profile coaches from even sniffing other jobs.
One can't help but think this will be decidedly to the Eagles' disadvantage in coaxing new sideline talent to Chestnut Hill.

BC says they fired Skinner earlier in the week, but kept it quiet so he could interview at St. John's (huh?). They paid him his remaining three years, so he get's to enjoy 3 million bucks without going to work for it.

Do any of y'all remember how BC treated Tom O'Brien when he was talking to NCSU? BC pretty much shunned O'Brien, then wrote into his successors contract that he could not look for another job.

And Amaker is a potential coach for BC? Would that be a good thing?! It would definitely be interesting!!!

If Tommy ever has his sights on Duke, my guess is he sticks with Harvard until another school opens up. It is very rare for an interconference coaching change to happen, and given BC's track record so far, they probably would have a clause in the contract that would forbid a move to another ACC school. If he's not concerened about Duke opening up, then he might look at getting back in the big leagues. From what I've heard, Tommy's pretty happy where he is; one big selling point for him would be his wife could stay at her post at Harvard without worrying about a change in her commute.

I like Al Skinner. I hope he gets a job at a school that will appreciate him. He seems like a nice guy. (I'm sure you all will educate me if I'm wrong.)

Sean Williams and Jared Dudley. Remember some of their antics/thuggery?
Reminds me of Hewitt.
No thanks to Skinner.
