For those that can't make it, it will be broadcast on goduke.com..but you have to have a premium subscription. I might do it if I can get the video for only one month. I'm not paying for a whole year..although they are adding more now to make that more worthwhile. The omega's will have their tent set up tomorrow, so for those that are going swing by and say hi.

The spring scrimmage pitted the first team offense against the first team defense and second team defense against second team offense. The defense was strong and repeatedly interrupted any attempts to establish an offensive rhythm. Running was a frequent choice for both offenses and demonstrated the emphasis being placed on improving that aspect of the offense. Though the scrimmage was patterned like a game it didn't feel like a game because the coaches were frequently trying different combinations of players and plays.
This team is lean and fast.... a major contrast to previous personnel just a few years ago. The most recently arrived among the players are making places for themselves very quickly. It's a delight to see some real competition at several key positions.
There's work to be done, but the team is attacking what's needed from a much better vantage point than we've seen in years.

Here's the most recent goduke.com article on the scrimmage.

It was easy to tell who paid the refs.
