Yeah, but it's more like he forced it upon himself. Gotta go to class if you are a student-athlete

Both announced they would be finshing their semesters. Also, I didn't realize it, but Patterson pulled a Jason Williams and will be graduating in 3 years. That always earns some respect in my book.

Technically speaking, according to the UK announcers at several telecasts this season, Wall did very well academically in his first semester.

As with any student, I hope he does well academically.

I wonder if the mass of early entries (you know there will be some 'holes in the mix too) will affect Singler's decision. I can't imagine he doesn't test the waters, it would be stupid not to, but I'm thinking he'll be better off next year as far as draft status. Of course, next year there will be a bunch leagin early as well, but not that many from one team and of the Ky. guys' skill sets.

You've also got to pay attention to the NBA labor situation. There's a strong chance the talk this time next year could be of a looming lockout in the league, and that may well drive some players into the draft this year who would not otherwise have done so.

Malcolm Delaney is declaring but not hiring an agent. Smart. I expect Nolan and Singler to do the same and come back so we can go back-to-back :D

Add GT's Lani Gawal to the list. Paul Hewitt will have to prove next year he can win by coaching, because they sure won't have tons of talent.
