I was positive I was going to give Kyle MOTM and either Nolan or Zoubs BeDeviler...but ultimately I went with Brian Zoubek for the man of the match and gave Nolan my BeDeviler vote. His defense was big time. I also could have gone with Lance, he was all over, and both Plumlees played really nice games.

Double-double disqualifies Zoubs from the BeDeviler.
I went with LT because he didn't have the Z-like stats, but made a huge difference.

I'll go with MP1 with a 8 point, 6 rebound showing in about 14 minutes with no foul trouble. Those stats are from memory. It coulda been 6 points and 8 boards. Nonetheless, he performed well as a sub for the Z-man and LT.

Miles Plumlee for me too. The reverse slam off the pass from Nolan? Love it!

I did track down the stats and he had 3 rebounds (after a couple celebratory brews last PM, the 3 sure looked like an 8 :)) =)) ) but the 6 points is correct. I'm sticking with my original vote, especially after replaying that effortless reverse slam multiple time in my mind. Alarmingly un-ath-a-letic. :)) =))

I go with Miles this time, too. That gorgeous dunk, while only worth the standard two points, was worth way more than that in terms of team morale and sending a message to the opposition. Really helped set the tone of the match. ^:)^

Lance had NINE rebounds, and a couple of points. I give him credit not only for the rebounds, but also for boxing out folks from challenging Z for rebounds. He also made a few MEAN SCREENS (which I would argue SHOULD be kept as a statistic).

I have liked combining the stats for LT and MP2 and then for Z and MP1 at various times during the year, figuring about 40 MPG for each combo. Makes our front line production pretty impressive. Most of the time. For example, from memory last PM, LT and MP2 had 4 points and 11 boards between them and about 6 PF. Z and MP1 had 20 points and 16 boards in 38-39 minutes with about 6 PF, too. I'll take that production for another 2 weeks from those guys ;) :D . Now, if only we could work on Jon's shot...

Miles.

The Dennardesque reverse dunk will make the 2010 NCAA Tournament highlight reel. Watch for it in "One Shining Moment."

You've blinded me with science. Now I wonder how that combo affected our PLUS/MINUS! @-) ~X( %-( :veryconfused: :asleep: :twitch:
