I was never a Boy Scout. Wasn't the cool thing to do among my friends. I AM a Girl Scout. I joined when my daughter became one (Mrs. Ozzie was already a Girl Scout from her childhood). Mrs. Ozzie was a troop leader, and was her mother when Mrs. Ozzie was a GS.

Today, I just eat the cookies! :D

I was a Girl Scout. I went from Brownies to Junior to Cadette when I lived in Durham.

I still have my Girl Scout uniform and my badge sash. I could fit in that uniform until I was 30 and got pregnant. :))

I made it to Life (one level below Eagle), then we moved yet again and I never went back to Scouting.

No. I loathed the idea of wearing a uniform. I still do.

I was a Brownie and flew up. Then we flew the coop and moved. Never attended another Girl Scout meeting.

That...is...the...best...story...ever! Why haven't we heard that one before!? ;) Good goin', 8-X .

I was a cub scout for a couple years, but being a military brat, we moved a lot, so I lost it after a move. I'm enjoying attending Tiger Scouts with my son, though. We didn't have Tiger Scouts when I was a kid. It's for the first graders, and the dads go to everything to help them out. Oh, and now they have these totally blinged out belt loops the kids can earn for achievements. They're like little rectangles that go around the belt and have an image of the achievement. They are gold for academic, and silver for athletic. I think wearing the belt with the bling is my son's favorite part.
