Do you believe in ghosts?

Doesn't have to be in the traditional sense. It can be hauntings, it can be a brief visit before the spirit "moves on."

In any way, shape or form, do you believe that spirits have communicated with or been seen by the living in any way, shape or form?

I believe in UFO's, but I don't believe in ghosts, even though I watch both Ghost Whisperer and Medium. They make for good fiction, but that's all.

Remember, it doesn't have to be "ghosts" in the traditional sense (e.g., one that sticks around for thousands of years haunting a place). It can be a spirt saying "goodbye." For instance, on two occassions (I promise), I feel I was visited by the spirit of the person who had just passed. I can't even put it into words, but on one of the occassions, it was a young friend of mine who I had no idea had died. I had my one and only dream about him that night (before I knew anything). This guy loved me and we used to play hoops together. Anyway, in my "dream," he came to me and was so happy. I told him, "Man, you look great! What are you doing here?" He responded, "Just wanted to say goodbye. He gave me a salute and walked of the basketball court that we were both standing on. Hours later, I went to work, opened my e-mail to find out (shockingly) that Jeff had passed away overnight. It freaked me out....in a very good way.

When I write, "ghosts," I mean experiences like the above too. Yes, it could have just been a coincidence. But I really don't think it was. I had never dreamed about him and haven't since. I had no idea he was ill. Amazing.

I believe in EarlJam and have no reason to doubt you. Spooky dream? Yes. I'll leave it at that.

Yes, and ghost hunting is fun. I wanna go to Waverly..I think we need a roadtrip, and then crash at Lavabe's after a long night of running around that place.

I used to get drunk with a few of my ECU friends and go out hunting for the Pactolus Lights. One of the professors in the Maritime Studies program there is a bit of a kook; he's really into avocational ghost-hunting and a hodgepodge of conspiracy theories. By day, he teaches all about ship design and construction. A jolly, pot-bellied man with a quintessential Wisconsin accent. Great dude.

The best thing about the Pactolus Lights is that they can creep you out, real or not.

I've had, what I believe to be, many spiritual/divine intervention experiences! Sometimes subtly, sometimes absolutely amazing! Whether you want to call it ghosts, angels, God, etc.... (have at it), ... I believe there is something greater than me!!!
