Ozzie - glad to hear that it isn't as serious as your previous injury, but I still feel your pain! Still not fun! Regarding the upload process, when you post a reply or quote a post, scroll down below the area you type your response and to the left you will see a tab that says "upload attachment". Hell no, they're not soft! And the ball comes back at the pitcher a helluva lot faster than they go out!bjornolf wrote:Get well soon, man. Those are never fun. I've had a few myself. I always wondered why they called it softball. They're NOT to soft when they're hitting you, are they?

I concur, they are from SOFT! II've experienced many a jammed thumb and bruise because of that damn SOFT ball hit by the big bohemith of a man trying to rock the world to be a hero! Being an ol' baseball player, I'd rather get hit with a baseball than experience the pain of that dog gone "SOFT" ball! I can remember the coach saying use your body to stop it, no matter what......OZZIE4DUKE wrote:Hell no, they're not soft! I've been lucky to catch many shots hit at my head over the years, but the ones to the lower right of my body, well, my glove (on the left hand) doesn't move that fast.
I'd amputate... :roll:OZZIE4DUKE wrote:OK, here's a couple of pics of the ankle. And for comparison, a shot of my shin from a couple of years ago. The ankle is no where near as bad...
Funny story. I was at the beach a few weeks after the shin bruise and my niece saw the bump on my shin. She said it looked like a knee, so I started tell people that I was part of the Duke knee cloning project and I was growing an extra knee for transplant to someone who needed a knee replacement. There were some people who bought into the story. Cracked me up!
That is about the only good use I could come up with for that product... :roll:CameronBornAndBred wrote:Wow, that looks horrible! Way to take one for the team, ice it down with a 6 pack of cold Bud Lite.
When you're hiking in areas where the quality of the water is uncertain, a cold Bud Lite is better than drinking the water.devildeac wrote:That is about the only good use I could come up with for that product... :roll:CameronBornAndBred wrote:Wow, that looks horrible!
