What I'd like to hear from Tiger today

"Eff you guys for badmouthing me while I've been struggling, and eff you for whining about the timing of my press conference. Have you forgotten who really pays the PGA Tour's bills? I'll be back for the Masters, and I'm gonna whoop your ass."

Guy looks visibly pained on TV right now. He has also repeatedly referred to his behavior, rather than vaguely referring to "any hurt I may have caused" or other such nonsense we often hear in such contexts. The reaction will be interesting to see.

I agree completely. In the most simple of terms, yes, he did wrong but who the Hell hasn't? He's taking the steps, and I'm pulling for him all the way.

I kind of think he's over the top on this one! He's a great golf player no doubt or question, but when it comes to morals, values and commitment, he is also a POS and gives us good guys a bad rep!!!! Just because he's doing it, doesn't mean I have to! Just saying....

All kidding aside, this might have been Tiger at the most earnest we've ever seen him (save perhaps a few moments with his father). If he didn't really mean that, then he deserves credit for acting the hell out of it. I also found the words he chose to be respectable; he repeatedly talked about what he personally did, and absolved those around him from blame. The only sharp words (and to call them "sharp" is putting it strongly) he reserved for the media, but they deserve it.
He still needs to do more to regain respect, but this was a good start. And as I've said all along, I don't need to respect him as a person to really enjoy watching him perform as an athlete. Just ask Michael Jordan.

Woods acted like many other spoiled athletes have (and will in the future). Personally, I think his infidelity is an issue to be resolved between him and his wife. That being said, he walks around like his shit don't stink and acts as if he is the purest of all athletes so I am glad to see him fall. If you really watch him on the course you will often see him act like a spoiled baby when something doesn't go his way.

So, while I think his infidelity is a personal matter, I do like the fact that the whinging little bitch has finally been knocked down to size and has been exposed for what he is.

Y'know, colchar, I often wish I could discern how you really feel about things. You're so indirect.

Yeah, in hindsight that post might have been a little strident. Or asinine. Your call.

In my defense, I was having a rough afternoon.

The only thing that Tiger is sorry about is that he got caught, and that is why he is apologizing.

I hope his putter dries up and falls off.

I 100% agree. I miss his playing golf, but I feel he's lying through his teeth. I'd be better with it if he said "Hell yeah, I slept with all them chicks, and I'll do it again!" At least then I would think he was honest.

And Santa and Tiger both replied:

His balls need to be removed from the course.
