Who BeDeviled the score against Maryland?

This is a tough one. I was so blinded by Zoubek's performance that it was hard to focus on anyone else...but he didn't beat the Terps alone. Who did all of the little things today to help with the win?

I'm going with Nolan. He was there with some nice rebounds and shots when we needed them..and the score would have been a bit closer without his D. Tough choice though...big shout out to Mason for keeping the crowd fired up when Zoubek was on the bench.

Had to vote for Lance Thomas. Defensive intensity was a notch higher when he and Z were in the game. As I noted in chat, the twerps always seemed go go on a run when LT and Z were on the bench. When they were in, Duke would go back up. LT played phenomenal D in this game, and it made a huge difference for us. Mason also got some consideration.
Big shout-out to Z. He had an amazing game. Clearly the MOTM.

You got to love Lance's effort today. Consider that just a few days ago, we didn't know how long he'd be out after that collision in the Dean Dome. In view of the deep bone bruise he got, I thought he moved remarkably well, even better in the the second half than the first half.

I voted for Lance for BOTM. Based on the above 2 posts, how come Lance only has 2 votes, including mine?

Someone must have given him verbal praises and not backed it up with an actual vote.

I'll vote for Nolan here. He had the primary responsibility for grievous in the 1st half and was outstanding with about a 2 point/3 rebound and 1/5 shooting performance by your most famous "nuestra casa" guy.

Since I voted for Nolan, and he only has one vote, that means that you didn't.

I must have commented but not voted. That has been rectified.

I frequently comment before, after and without voting.

I went with Mason. Zoub is ineligible in my eyes, because he turned in the least subtle game of his Duke career...easily his finest performance in the blue and white.
Nolan and Lance got consideration too, but optimism aside, I think we really are seeing Mason take the step forward that we've been wanting to see. 17 minutes and only two fouls is very, very encouraging to me. And that alley-oop...oooh, Lawd!

I also voted for Mason. I think K putting the Plumlee's in together will pay huge dividends down the line.
