Very cool. CBS is now showing (at 8:32 a.m.) the king, Arnold Palmer, teeing off to open the Masters! 8-) 8-) 8-)

He hit it right down the middle and halfway up the hill on #1! If only he could do that more often :roll:

My company is doing the weekend backassedwards, and we are taking Monday off while everyone else takes Friday off. I'd rather get to stay home and watch tomorrow, DirecTV has a pretty cool package for it.

I love Arnold Palmer. He went to Wake Forest.

When I was in law school, I worked in the Development Office at Wake Forest. We had file cabinets containing files for every alum. Most alums had a single file folder containing their wedding announcements, and perhaps a clipping of a job promotion from their local newspapers. Arnold Palmer had his own file CABINET.

I met Arnold Palmer in February 1967 or 68 at Doral Country Club 8-) before he played in that year's Doral tournament. I was 12 or 13 (depending on the year) , and he signed a dollar bill for me (it was my dad's idea to get him to sign the dollar bill).

The cut at the Masters is smaller than other tournaments - the low 44 players plus ties, or everyone within 10 shots of the leader(s), whichever is greater. Most tournaments make the cut at the low 70 plus ties.

I hope 'Moving Day' is interesting this year.

Well the good news is that Jesus T Woods double bogeyed the 1st hole. He did birdie 3, so he's now -1 for the tournament.

Most birdies in a round -- Anthony Kim, 11, yesterday

I assume most of those runs were on the back, or at least after the 6th, where the surprisingly difficult and lesser known holes end.

Remember Jack also shot 30 on the back in 1986, though the under-par holes weren't all consecutive.

Kenny Perry is now leading at -11. Mickleson is making a decent little run today or was till he just bogeyed 10. Jesus TW just bogeyed 11 to go back to -1. He's still got 13 and 15 ahead of him, so you can almost pencil him in at -3.

Just turned it on to see Tiger bogie. Also saw Perry's birdie putt for the lead, that was nice.
