I really believe that whoever loses tonight is destined for lesser things, and I'm rooting like hell for the wuffies. Game is at 9, see ya in Section 21.

I strongly concur. Go 'Pack, though sadly I won't be able to join you for the game...dinner, etc. with my lukewarm tar heel gf (wow, that sounded much worse than it was supposed to).
Should be a hell of a contest in Ralegh tonight, as you can bet that the State faithful are well aware of the above, and make no mistake: they want to beat the heels more than they want to beat us, regardless of the relative strength of our teams.

The above is damn right.

Remember the "Wuffies" ran a very competent, albeit boring, coach out of town mainly because he couldn't beat UNC and considered the UNC matchups to be "just another game".

For State beating Duke is great (hell, who doesn't like to beat Duke?) but, beating UNC (in any sport) makes their season.

I have just one thing to say about tonights game:

Not sure how I feel about that pick; I genuinely think this game's a toss-up. But while they don't share anything specific with regard to their methodology, this forecast has accurately predicted 70+% of winners for the past seven seasons and counting.

They definitely did, but one would think they'd take intangibles into account (especially with this matchup). The above prediction does not suggest to me that they have done so.
