GT vs UNC

Post by Jesus_hurley » January 16th, 2010, 2:27 pm

UNC-CH down 24-8 midway through the first half. Roy swaps 5 for 5. Doesn't matter, first five suck, second five suck. Roy sucks.

Not to worry, the refs will assist the 'holes to a W today.

Might be fewer turnovers if either team would slow down a little

42-28 at the half. GT did get a gift from the refs at the end, but considering they have 3-4 players with 2 fouls each and UNC-CH had 6 called all half, I'd say it's a draw.

Must be the same refs who called the CofC game that saw the 'holes shoot 34 FT to CofC's 6 FT. :swear:

I'm not watching but one of the posters on the thread on DBR has referred to the officiating in this game as being "utterly laughable" and embracing, by far, the best example of the "carolina double standard" as he has ever seen. At one point, FT were 18 to 4...

fracking dishonest, corrupt acc refs.

So surprised the refs let them lose that game. They let them throw it in past half court, which was pretty generous. Makeup for not putting time on the clock?
