'Almost Made in Heaven' Wins The Charlie

Post by Bostondevil » January 15th, 2010, 11:41 pm

Yes, I'm now a 2-time Charlie award winning playwright. Almost Made in Heaven won the audience choice award at Acme Theater's New Works Winter Festival! I think I should send another note to Coach K.

Holy Smokes! CONGRATULATIONS!!

A lot of people SAY they are going to write something like that (e.g., a play, a book, etc.), but you did it.......and did it very, very, VERY well! That is so impressive. And to win twice? Wow!

Here is a toast to you! :ymhug:  ^:)^

So what's the next step?

Go BD! That's just fabulous! You should definitely send a note to Coach K. I'd really like to see this play. Any chance that it will be in the St. Louis area at some point?

We should seriously start a BD Fan Club. First she runs the Boston Marathon, and then she becomes a 2-time Charlie Award winer. :-BD ^:)^

Cameron Indoor needs a drama festival. Yeah, they could do it in Page...but CIS would be fun. :D

How long is the play? Perhaps halftime at the Duke-UNC Game? Of course, if that occurs, I expect a ticket since it was my idea!

Perhaps the Presbyterian College fan could be one of the actors?

A duke win tomorrow will cap off a fitting weekend. BD gets an award about a play involving duke-unc, duke's football coach proves he is a better man, duke wins, unc loses.
