I'm really enjoying the front page articles. I'd sure love to know who's writing what, though.

Yeah, me too! On some of the "skins" that are available, the author shows up, but not for the one I've selected. That is my next troubleshooting fix.

Can you look at the source files for the skins? If so, we should be able to extract the author code from one skin and add it to the skin you like. PM me for details. I'll see what I can see.

Will do. You could probably figure out a bunch of stuff on there that I'm not catching. Look for a PM this evening.

I just noticed that if you click on "feedback" it tells you there who posted the article. Next best thing to a by-line, I guess.

At the end of the article, there is a box that indicates who posted the article and the time and date it was posted. Am guessing that if EarlJam posted something he wrote it. [/really bad sarcasm]

When I upgraded the forums, I also upgraded the software for the front page, and since then it's been nothing but buggy. I've tried restoring it back to it's previous version from backups, and no luck...so I've decided I'm going to change the software that runs it. Right now I use b2Evolution, and I'm going to go to Wordpress. If I'm lucky, I'll be able to migrate everything over to the new software, if I'm not lucky I'll have to start the front page from scratch. Anyways, just a heads up to keep a lookout for changes. I'll let the writers know if anything different applies to them.

The front page has nothing to do with the board.

It can still be the forums, but what I'm doing to the front page won't be the reason.

So, I have to share my dumb moment for the day. Multiple times today I tried to view the CTN website from where it was saved in my favorites list either on my phone or at work. I continued to get error messages and thought it must be because of the update work Chris was doing. I kept checking for updates on Facebook but none of the updates said anything about the error messages of the site being down completely. I get home and still no luck. Low and behold something finally told my little brain to type in the website. As you can see I found my way back now. I felt so lost.

Fordgrl, don't feel bad. I had the same problem this morning and then it dawned on me that I should type in "crazietalk.net" and it worked like a charm!
