Old Maid's Tales

Post by EarlJam » January 11th, 2010, 5:51 pm

Is it true that a dog's mouth is actually cleaner than a human mouth? No particular reason in asking, really, I um, promise. Just ahhhh, curious.

I guess that's the category where you would such statements as:

"Eating the ends of loaves of bread will make your hair curly (for girls) / put hair on your chest (for boys)."

(I think mythbusters would make short work of that one...)
"The idea is that you are better today than you were yesterday."

You ARE of course, familiar with the old Marietta prohibition raied of 1935?? A great Atlanta tale. That should tell the whole story.
