Welcome MHTorringjan!
Welcome to MHT, I asked him over yonder if he'd be interested in blogging on the front page for the women's games, and he has agreed to help out. So keep your eyes out for reports from Cameron. Also, welcome to Crazietalk! Pull up a chair and grab a drink.

I hope he can begin to refer to the players as women, not girls.

Heh, sorry about that, bad habit to ever get into. I'll try to fix that as soon as we get the login for the main page worked out.Devil in the Blue Dress wrote:Good addition!CameronBornAndBred wrote:Welcome to MHT, I asked him over yonder if he'd be interested in blogging on the front page for the women's games, and he has agreed to help out. Thanks for the welcome, guys, I'll try to post summaries of the games I can attend in between writing my dissertation and spending time with my fiance! ;-)

I'm finishing up in the Chemistry department this year, and it looks like I'm going to be doing a postdoc next year, which will be fun.Devil in the Blue Dress wrote:Good for you! Were you at Sunday's game, standing at the top of the bleachers next to a guy wearing a black shirt and round glasses?MHTorringjan wrote:I'm finishing up in the Chemistry department this year, and it looks like I'm going to be doing a postdoc next year, which will be fun.Devil in the Blue Dress wrote:Good for you! Yup, I try to be at as many games as I can, being a grad student, I get in for free.TillyGalore wrote:Were you at Sunday's game, standing at the top of the bleachers next to a guy wearing a black shirt and round glasses?MHTorringjan wrote: I'm finishing up in the Chemistry department this year, and it looks like I'm going to be doing a postdoc next year, which will be fun.
Incidentally, the guy in the glasses beside me is my dad, he's been buying season tickets every season I've been there. We first started going to Duke women's BB games at the ACC tourney in G'boro about 6 or 7 years back, whatever Alana's next-to-last year was, and we've been fans ever since.
