Running back Josh Snead has graduated early from Smithfied-Selma HS, (just around the corner from Ozzie), and has arrived in Durham to start school at Duke.
This allows him to attend spring practice and get a headstart on school.
With 4.4 speed and a 4.4 GPA I'm looking forward to seeing him on the field while knowing the that the classroom is also a strong suit. Also joining him at Duke is Coronoa, CA quarterback Brandon Connette. The article can be found on WRAL.com

Awesome! I'm really looking forward to seeing him play. Ozzie told us about a game earlier in his season that he scored 5 ways from Sunday...and on both sides of the ball.

Don't forget Cooper Helfet, the junior college transfer from California, who's also enrolling in the new semester. He's the guy who attended John Hopkins freshman year on a lacrosse scholarship, then returned to CA to play junior college football.
The Spring Scrimmage will seem a little like something's missing without Thad, Vince and Vinnie, but what a great beginning we can look forward to seeing!
