Does anyone here own one? Is it all it is said to be? I have to admit, the commercials totally captivate me. "You're going to love my nuts...!"

Maybe, but come on. This is world-changing stuff here. The Slap Chop is very important. It cannot be "discussed" enough.

I got a slap chop for Christmas and I gotta say, I do not like his nuts or any other nutty/fruity/veggie concoction one cares to add.
The worst feature of this thing is that the veggies get stuck between the blades and you have to use something to pry 'em out with. I used a knife to pry out the first batch of mushrooms I attempt to cut up using the 'ol slap chop.... then used the knife to finish cutting the mushies as the slap chop looked on.

Consumer's Reports says this gadget is a flop, performance falls far short of hype.

I went to my wife's office this morning, and played it for everyone there. Now they are all stuck with it.

It's got to be pretty small. The commercial shows it chopping a strawberry. It doesn't look like much more than two strawberries could be chopped in that thing.
Question: Who chops strawberries?

Funny video and I should have taken the Capt's advice (that song is still ringing in my ears! Please make it stop!
) I hadn't seen this before so I wasn't really sure what y'all were talking about. I initially thought it might pertain to street basketball,
, however, now I know. I've got a similar one of these from pampered chef (mine has a longer clear plastic enclosure so you can chop more) and I love it and use it all the time (especially with garlic and onions). I've tried the cheap-O target brands and I immediately noticed a huge difference in quality and effectiveness. What mine does not do is that grating at the end of the commercial (wonder how they do that with a Choper!
) Maybe it would have been more effective and catchy for the ladies if the names were combined (GRater + ChOPer) and called it The SLAP GROPER! It might get someone's attention and be a good spin for the host and the bunny, honey! Don't hug the bunny!
;) I need some more coffee!

Oh my God.
I've never seen the music video. L.O. Fkin' L! Is this an actual commercial or a You Tube creation? I was NEVER going to buy the Slap Chop, but after watching this, I bought 19 of them.

Rap Chop is the brainchild of
Steve Porter. While I don't really enjoy electronic music and the like, I gotta say this guy is a genius. He's also made a video for Shamwow but I've reached by self-imposed Google/Youtube limit for the day.
