How many inches do you like?

Just saw a Subway commercial and was curious. When you go to Subway, how large of a sub do you usually get?

Damn. In all seriousness, I think you have a VERY good point there. I'd buy the 8". Sometimes 6" is too small but I don't feel like 12". Have they ever experimented with that?

I wouldn't touch that with a thirty-nine and a half foot pole!

My kids love to eat there! I usually get the 6" BMT on wheat, toasted with everything on it and when I'm feeling real hungray, I'll get the 12" and either save the other half for lunch the next day or cut it in half and eat the other 3" or just devour the entire foot long in one sitting!!!

Does Subway advertise inches or centimeters outside the US?

Now that IS AN INTERESTING QUESTION! I remember them wanting to introduce the metric system, way back when, because it was the up and coming thing, but it never seemed to stick here in the US of A! Now how long is a centipeed (Oops, I mean centi-meter)? and a meter is HOW LONG? :D ;) Coming from a Mathematician minor who can make squares just pURRRRfect that make CB&B crawl the walls! LOL! ;) :D

Publix grocery stores here make great subs (great bread ) they do 'half' and 'whole' which is what I guess subway does when inches don't apply...

Haha yeah, that would make more sense.

But in all seriousness I would buy the 8" or 9" or whatever EVERY time over the 6 and 12" subs...

That's what SHE said.

May Subway burn in hell. Any "sub" shop that can't do a good Philly style Italian hoagie is worthless in my book.

I usually get a foot long, and finish it in one sitting.
