So this is it.... the very last day of 2009. Before we look ahead to 2010 ("twenty-ten" versus "two-thousand-ten" debate on the side for now) take a look back at the year.
What lessons did you learn? What positives did you get out of the year?

For me, I learned of an even newer appreciation for my patience as well as learning how to be more understanding in a less-understanding world.
I learned (and still learning) the importance of those close to you but more importantly the order in which they fill in your life.
To value new friends, experience old things in new ways, appreciate what I do have and in a sense, appreciate what I do not have.

I learned that bulletin boards can still be great sources of friendship and fellowship.

I learned that one can find love, even in a Carolina fan.

I learned good things do come to those who wait.

I learned that I needed to rejoin a health club and get back to regular exercise. I joined the new one next to SSS High School yesterday. Haven't used it yet, but I've joined ;) If I'd walk the 3/4 mile to it instead of driving, I wouldn't have needed to join it, just walk to it and back.

Like Ozzie, I have learned that exercise is a good thing. I feel much better when I exercise. I started exercising regularly after Thanksgiving; here's hoping I can keep it up in the New Year!

I learn, each year, that there's a lot of people in mad, drunken celebration over the prospects of getting to use a new calendar.

I've learned that family is much much more important than work.

True, we've got a great community here in our own little corner of cyberspace.

I've learned that sometimes goodbye is a second chance.

I'm grateful for my second chance at living my life. (I'm more than ready to put the past decade behind me.)

I re-learned and re-learned and re-learned the importance of inner peace. To all of you in 2010----may you be safe, may you be happy, may you be strong and may you feel peaceful and at ease more often than not. I wish the same for our guys on the floor! That has even more value than a National Championship.

I learned that I have to take care of myself every once in a while and take care of my own mojo. Inner peace in a must in 2010.
