Want to help me skew another online competition?

Here's the voting link.

If you search around the site, you can watch videos of all the dancers. My friend is Tandava. Her video is nice but it really doesn't do her dancing complete justice. She's at least 6 feet tall, maybe 6' 2" and when she does that shimmy move, it's a sight to behold. It's like there's an electric current moving from her toes to her head and back again. Anyway, have at it, please!

Forgot to add that the second dance on her video draws on her background as an improv actor/comedienne. It's pretty unique.

I voted for her. I LOVED her second dance. I wasn't so much a fan of her first. A lot of this kind of thing is based on looks and body shape. Not that you have to be an Olympic athlete to pull it off, but your body has to be built properly to display your craft to fullest advantage. I liked her hip work, but I think her lack of definition in the ab area hurts her cause you can't see quite as much of what's going on there. She obviously works hard and puts a LOT into it and I think she was a better dancer than some of the others I watched, but I think her voting total is hurt by that. Great effort though, I really enjoyed watching it.

After looking at Bones's post, I think a more realistic explanation is poll skewin'. Some 40+% of the vote is going for the Brazilian contestant, and 30+% is going for the Argentinian one. Tandava leads the American contestants in that category.

You don't suppose there's a little poll skewin' going on south of the border now, do you?

Wheat beer, my arse! That's only about 5% ABV. Now, if you had said wheat beer AND his imperial porter, then you might have a case... :)) =))
