Was he a real Chef or just a ficticious character?

If he WAS a real chef, was his pasta dishes as shitty as the canned goods on the chef?

If so, how did he get the title of Chef?

What an asshole.

Indeed he was a real chef, and a purdy good one at that. His mistake was selling out and changing the spelling of his name. There are some moments where I won't turn down a bowl of beefaroni, only some.

Thanks. By the way, I meant to write, "......as sh*tty as on the shelf," not "chef."

I doth protest! Chef Boyardee Ravioli is not shitty..it is The Shit! I could eat can upon can of that stuff. Sweetie Pie used to be addicted to the Chef's Spaghetti & Meatballs. Chef Boyardee is one of those products that the store brand can never live up to, and as far as that other sorry outfit goes, Franco-American (really Cambell's), that stuff is just plain nasty. Speghettihelln-O's.

You know, to be absolutely honest, in kind of a farked up way, I totally agree with you. I DO eat Chefboyardi products and rather enjoy them. I just recognize them as something between Ramon Noodles and genuine pasta dishes. Still, I agree, they ARE pretty good.

I <3 Chef Boyardee pizza from the box. I know it's not real pizza, but love it for what it is. Brings back tons of cool memories :D

Hell YES! File this under, "traditions" (see post from above). The Chefboyardee crappy pizzas. We used to love making those as kids. They tasted, well............they tasted. But the fun of making them.......working hard to cover the entire cookie sheet with the dough without holes. It was so fun. A childhood memory indeed!

Great call!
