not to rip off the band-aid or anything....
http://www.desmoinesregister.com/articl ... h-Carolina
After the announcement, a picture of Williams and Barnes, wearing a North Carolina No. 40 jersey, appeared on the screen. It was taken when Williams made his visit to the Barnes home last month.
Appears that when he went on the Duke visit he was already a hole....

I can't remember ever going from liking someone so much to hating someone so much in a matter of seconds...

I don't really pay that much attention to recruiting, so I wasn't as emotionally invested in this kid as some Duke fans were, so while I was disappointed, I was also a little relieved that he decided to go elsewhere, because I don't know how well a kid who wants so much to be the center of attention would fit with Coach K and the rest of the team, y'know?

While he seemed more like a "good fit for Duke" than John Wall, the whole media event based on an such an egocentric concept projected a circus event in the making. Is the Dean Dome big enough for all the egos who've signed to perform there? We'll see. Too many egos and not enough team has plagued the Carolina program before.
