Tilly told me that they've changed the start time to 3:00 p.m.

Definitely 3 p.m., the same time that our football game at Miami will be almost over. We need a letter writing/phone call campaign to get them to broadcast the 4th quarter in Cameron on the big screens, ESPECIALLY if we are about to become Bowl eligible with our 7th win! :ymparty:

I'm thinking it would be fun to meet somewhere close to Duke, to watch the football game. For me, it would depend on how the game is going,to decide when I would leave for CIS. We could go to Satisfaction, or anywhere. Anyone interested?

Devine's, if it wasn't so damn smokey, would be a good choice - they've got lots of large screens.

I have not been there in years. I did like Devines. I wonder if they have made things easier for non-smokers?

I'm thinking of going by there this afternoon to watch "the announcement" at 4 p.m. I'll let you know.

I forgot to ask yesterday, did you go by Devines? If so will it work for us?

Yes, I went :(

They do not have a no smoking section. So if we want a typical bar smoking environment, then it will work. If we don't, it won't. There isn't a "smoke free" sports bar that they (waitress, bar tender, other patrons there) could think of. Devine's would probably work as well as anywhere else for lunch and viewing, and they have a wall full of large screen tv's.

Another choice could be the lobby bar at the Millennium Hotel (off Morreene Rd., on Campus Walk Drive). That wouldn't be nearly as smokey, the food and drink are good but a bit more $ than Devine's, and the service is slower, especially for a group, since there is only one person tending bar.

Devines works for me. Thanks for checking it out.
