This was to have been kept "close to the vest" (but nobody is recruiting her :roll: ), but just had to let folks know that my sweet bride had her knee 'scoped this AM ( ) and had part of her left lateral meniscus removed and a few arthritic "spurs" shaved off. Surgery took about 22 minutes, appears to have gone well (I've got pix to prove it, I think, but have no ideer how to post them here ) and she is mildly narcotized watching the Beverly Hillbillies on WGN now from her sofa throne in our sunroom. She has only passed out once so far (I am the family record holder post-op so far with 3 episodes) but the day is still young :roll: .

Healing vibes and lots of TLC should do the trick for her!

It's bad enough shaving around the outside of your knee. I can't imagine having anything shaved off of the inside of it! ;)

Mason Plumlee's having to take it easy, too. The injury list from last Saturday's gladiator fest is the longest of the football season. She's in good company.

I'm making some chicken soup this evening and wish I were near by to deliver some.

Did you just get pictures or did you get a video? When both my parents had their's done, they were given video tapes. I'm not sure what is stranger - the got videos or we got together to watch them.
