I swear. If Biden wins Georgia and Trump takes the rest, causing a tie at 269 - You will find me in the back of my closet in the fetal position, thumb in mouth, rocking back and forth, mumbling incoherently something about "electoral college bullshit".

Don't try to approach me or comfort me in any way, I will be dangerous.

Probably too partisan to post OY, but I thought other people might be as amused as I am by the irony of the Trump demonstrator in AZ (at least they appeared to be part of the Trump demonstration) holding the sign "Protect Democracy, not your Party".

Trump has completely destroyed their ability to think intelligently and for themselves. Trump has talked a lot about making school curriculums less politically correct and more "patriotic." Even I would admit that the hyper-political correctness has gone a bit too far, though I would prefer it that way to what Trump is saying. Anyway, before they do that, they should implement a curriculum of critical thinking, not blindly listening to a paranoid, narcissistic, self-serving madman and/or any news outlets that support him without doing any fact checking. Is that too much to ask?

Some of the corners of the Internet I hang out in have a fair number of Trump supporters, and the cries of fraud have been constant and loud. If Biden wins we'll be hearing about fraud for the next 4 years at least.

I would stop visiting those corners of the internet. Or it will be a really miserable four years (knock on wood).

Boo Damn Hoo

Welcome to the year 2000.

At least in the year 2000, neither candidate screamed through the whole election that it was all going to be rigged.

Georgia is going to be SOOOOO close!

As PA nears the inevitable, I think Biden's folks are setting up the Delaware stage for a victory speech. I expect that speech to be less exuberant than what we are used to .

I think and hope you’re right. He can thank his supporters profusely for their incredible work. But his focus should be on patriotism, patriotic unity in a perilous moment. The duration of that peril will depend on how and how much Trump and the most crazed Trumpists attempt to set the country ablaze between now and Jan 20. He should openly address his hope that the President will behave honorably, according to our traditional transition protocols. He should say — this will be tough — he will honor the President’s service to the country, and appeal to him to honor our country by helping Biden get off to a smooth start. This will put the country — really Trump voters and most importantly Republican Senators — on notice that Republicans have a patriotic duty to honor our Constitution. He should use the words “patriotism, honor, Constitution, traditions” a lot, clearly and calmly. He should look at the camera and slow his speech just a little for clarity and persuasion.

He has to offer an honest, heartfelt appeal to Trump voters, especially to those non-nutters who said they don’t like Trump and his tweets but are afraid of socialism and violent protesters taking over. He cannot and surely will not feel it necessary to assure left-Dems that their agenda is now fully his. He can avoid this, because the left-progressive prediction-hope of a blue wave did not happen. His focus cannot be on his own victorious coalition, as it was barely victorious. He must speak to the tens of millions of now-reactionary populists who still call themselves conservatives.

Yet over 70 million people want him as their president for four more years. I am truly embarrassed to be an American and be surrounded by people who fall for the tricks of this clown (no offense to clowns). Biden is a kind, decent man who is not proposing anything radical, yet so many people believed Trump's lies. There is no common sense of truth anymore. And I don't see how this can be repaired. Let's just go about our merry way and split into two countries. I am fortunate to live in a state where most people agree with me. My apologies to those of you who do not.

Biden has crossed the 4 million mark in his lead in the national total.

Just had a thought, we need to drag out the count as long as possible. As long as the Orange Turd thinks he has a chance, he won't go complete batshit on the country.
