I don't think the dogs will be thrilled about the idea of going into the little bathroom until the storm passes through. :wizard:
Update: the nice lady at Channel 2 said to go in your bathroom and put a book over your neck. =))

Ozzie, you'd be livid to know that they have pre-empted the last PGA major of the year, though now they have the golf and the live radar on split screens.
Hope you survived unscathed. I'm still watching the golf. They are on what should be the last of 3 playoff holes. Keegan Bradley leads Jason Dufner by 2 shots on the 18th tee.

I couldn't find a book with which to protect my neck :ymdevil: , so I went upstairs and did 30 minutes of an exercise video. Lots of thunder, heavy rain, not much else that I can see. Channel 2 has gone to "60 Minutes" so I'm guessing they don't think there's a threat any longer.

It does sound like Storm #2 is blowing through now, but it can't be but so bad, since the dogs are calmly eating supper.

Today was hot, but I loved the last two days. Overcast skies, nice breeze. I even got out and let my lawnmower kill me.

National Geographic Channel is doing an hour-long program on the April tornadoes right now (Sunday night at 8 pm edt). The first part is in NC - the Lowe's in Sanford, Raleigh and Shaw University and now moving in to Wilson. It will be repeated at 11 pm if you want to watch it or set your DVR's.

Hey, Ozzie; sounds like great weather for a round of golf! :D :9f:

And on day 28 the 100+ streak finally broke. High today was only 97 and it is sprinkling outside.

Tomorrow's high...86. Tomorrow's low...67. I think I just may hang out in tomorrow for the next month.

Thunder and lightning now but may end up being much ado about nothing.

Greg Fishel just called with a severe T-Storm warning for "my house".

Hope you get a string of cooler days! We've had several here. Sad when 'cool' means upper 80s-low 90s.

Absolutely, I went out to grill up dinner ~6 and called out to my husband saying, "Hey it's a lot cooler today." He had just mowed the lawn and said he wasn't sweating as hard a usual. Back in March 80 dgr was killing us, now it's sweater weather.

I got 1.5 inches of rain Friday am. It is raining again this morning. We need the rain around here but I think Texas needs it more. I'd share it with my brother if I could.

I could see it with the porch light. The grass wasn't crunchy, and it wasn't up around my ankles, either.
