Partly to mostly sunny and steamy! The heat index could exceed 110 degrees.

And that forecast is with a underwhelming 20% chance of rain in an area that is already 6.5+ inches deficient for the year already.

I'm ready for FB season. More specifically, mid-to late FB season.

Note to Bob Green and DA: Send some of that cloudy, 65 degree rainy stuff back east. Or I will hunt you both down and...
Sounds like a beach trip is in order!

Sounds more like a trip to someplace above 5000ft elevation should be in order. #:-s

Beach was last weekend with CLD and dukediv2012. Quite nice at the coast. Temperatures in the mid 80s with a few clouds and an occasional breeze. On call this weekend but most of the rest of the family gets to go :( .

5000 ft elevation sounds attractive, too.

It was not fun getting out of the van Saturday evening - temp was close to 100. I wanted to go back to Michigan where it was quite pleasant.

It is supposed to be in the high 90s low 100s until the middle of next week. They better not be lying about that!

And a thunderstorm has sprouted up. Coming right down US 70 from Clayton towards Smithfield. Just started raining here. Maybe the grass will turn green again. Golf will have to wait until tomorrow. Hopefully I won't wait at late to go play.

My power just went out. My UPS is keeping my computer and modem up, so I can still post. At least for the next 30 minutes or so... Maybe the grass will turn green again! :D

That's a helluva sunburn you got, too. Better use more sunscreen the next time you get in your car after a haircut. 8-| .

Guess I shouldn't have driven the convertible, huh.

(Didn't do that, either.)
