I'm in Ft. Lauderdale! The pic was taken at an outdoor restaurant on A1A, across from the beach just north of Las Olas Blvd. :9f: I'll be here till Tuesday if you want to join us! But you'll have to get a hotel room, there are no open bedrooms at my mom's condo :D

Veggie lasagna left over from last night. But to make up for it I tried a new little dessert that was very good. Halves of fresh figs in a balsamic and cassis reduction over a little scoop of Hagendaaz vanilla.

Love, Ima

We had spaghetti, salad and bread from Luigi's (in Graham). We picked up on our way home from the mountains. As usual, it was great.

We're having left overs. I cooked every night while we were in the mountains. I'm all "cooked out".

WIlson! Ya made it back as promised. I could do without the kale and BS salad. Gimme mixed greens or romaine anytime, any place.

"BS salad"? I see what you did there...
Amelia and I have kind of fallen in love with Brussels sprouts (not BS) lately. Can't get enough of 'em.

Not merely a coincidence ;;) .

Now, someone throw together a good broccoli salad and I'm all over it.

Nothing fancy. Baked chicken with garlic and pepper under the skin, baked sweet potatoes and fresh kale.

Jon made pork and veggie kabobs with jasmine rice last night. For dessert, we had a pumpkin cheesecake.

Native came to borrow the Bimmer for the weekend so DukeRah and I took him to Kanki (his fave) for supper on the way home. First night in weeks I can remember not cooking. Nice.

Hopefully the Wolves will be gorging on ram chops for dinner this evening. And snacking on them all afternoon, too. :9f:
